Scars on 45 Perform ‘Heart on Fire’ from MTV Rooftop

English indie rockers Scars on 45 recently participated in the O Music Awards’ 24-hour marathon of live performances at a steep altitude.

The band was perched on the roof of MTV’s headquarters in Times Square while they played their song “Heart on Fire,” which comes off their 2011 EP of the same name.

Scars On 45 Release Debut Self-Titled Album

Scars on 45 has been touring incessantly over the past two years leading up to this week’s release of their self-titled debut album.

The British group has had a big 2012, as songs like “Heart on Fire” and “Give Me Something” have made it on several TV shows, and Scars on 45 even made their television debut in early March on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

“It’s a stamp of approval,” frontman Danny Bemrose told Billboard of the record’s release. “I don’t want to say it proves that we were right, but it certainly gives us a pat on the back and a ‘well done for sticking with it.’”
