R5 Performs Acoustic Version of ‘Loud’ for Radio Disney

Upcoming teen band R5 recently stopped by the Radio Disney studios to perform an acoustic version of their new single “Loud.”

The song is the title track off the quintet’s debut EP, and it really displays the rich harmonies R5 is known for.

Watch Noah Gundersen Play ‘Dying Now’

When Seattle singer/songwriter Noah Gundersen stopped by the Guild Airstream, he played “Dying Now,” a darkly sweet song about life and death.

“Dying Now” was recorded as part of last year’s Protosong project, which is a charity event that let fans donate what they want for a playlist of 21 exclusive songs.  Seventy percent of the proceeds from the event went to acquire clean water to those who need it most, while the rest went to the artists.

As for Gundersen, he currently has several dates scheduled through April with the To Write Love on Her Arms Heavy and Light tour.  Heavy and Light is an evening of hope that looks to encourage people through great music and powerful words, to stay alive and to get the help they need.  Continue reading

Watch Phil Collen Cover Paul Rodgers’ ‘Muddy Water Blues’

Def Leppard and Manraze guitarist Phil Collen recently presented a gift of $20,000 to the Gerson Institute in California, helping to support holistic cancer therapy efforts.

Collen auctioned off a one-of-a-kind guitar that was played on Def Leppard’s Rock of Ages tour for $15,000 and added $5,000 of his own money.

While at the Gerson Institute, Collen performed an acoustic set with Debbi Blackwell-Cook, who is featured on the Manraze single “Take On the World.” Continue reading

Exist Elsewhere recently stopped by the Guild Artist Showroom in Burbank, Calif., to record acoustic versions of two songs off their latest EP, Live on Isle of Wight Radio.
